The restaurant El Capitano was stated about 5 years ago by Mr. Victor Robles, who started off washing dishes in the El Marinero restaurant, and later became a cook, and slowly worked his way up through other various jobs in the kitchen. After taking some time to study English , and while working in many other capacities in the restaurant he finally, together with 5 other friends realized his dream of starting his own restaurant called Las Canoas, witch for 7 years was one of the best in Mazatlán, later he founded the El Capitano restaurant close to the beach, in a great location for enjoying the beautiful sunsets of the pacific in a friendly family atmosphere, where we take into account the smallest details. El Capitano is often visited by tourists from around the world, as well as famous artists and actors from Mexico and many other countries.
